Patches to the rescue!
Okay, I’ve got good and bad news. The bad news is that I will no longer be posting updates for Last Train Home on my blog. I simply don’t have the audience to justify keeping it here. No audience, to be honest. I mostly did it for myself,
Last Train Home
Meike has a grisly task before them, but endure it.
Kindle Vella
I originally had something slightly different in mind, such as adding Meike's silhouette. I didn't want to give people the wrong idea about the story, ya know? Since Pickles is a side character, and all. But I feel like this gives the cover more an air of mystery, plus people love a cute dog.
Last Train Home
The hunt comes to an end, and Meike meets their mysterious client.
Last Train Home
Meike goes mushroom hunting! Featuring Pickles.

Last Train Home
Meike gets some new digs!
Hobbies
Mushroom hunting in particular appeals to me, just because I like to hike and walk, and am always encountering mushrooms along the way. I want to be able to name and identify them, and maybe even take some home to enjoy. Or even grow them!
Last Train Home
Meike completes their job for Griselda, but can't help but feel dissatisfied.
Last Train Home
Meike encounters a young alchemist who dabbles in herbalism.
