Retiring Some of My Backlog

This is a decision I made after very careful consideration, but I will be delisting several romance books. Fluid Bonding is an exception because it was my debut and I've still got a fondness for it. But all of St. Acton and maybe Never Too Much. St. Acton for sure though, as I Think of You Often was released prematurely, and wasn't given the time and care needed to bring out its full potential.

I have been working on and off on the second book in the series, but it's really hard to focus without addressing the flaws in the first book. That, and I even considered releasing the second as a standalone, a sort of "refresh" for the series. But condensed into one book that covers most of my original plans for the sequels, but omits chunks of the first book. The biggest change will be the lack of romance, with more focus on established partnerships. And healthier relationship dynamics.

I make no promises on if or when it will be published, as I've got my hands full with other projects. But I love these characters and think about them a lot. Just wish I'd done right by them the first go around, but it's a hard lesson to learn and one I take to heart.

Never Too Much also started as a fun concept, and a few people seem to have enjoyed it, but it's also very flawed in its own way. That story also shares a setting with St. Acton, though they share very little overlap otherwise. Clearly, I've got a lot of mixed feelings about it. And while a less valid reason, I want to safely reuse the name "Cyrille" for other characters in future books. It's such a lovely name...

Anyway, these books will be unpublished by the end of the year, ideally sooner. There are some less polished versions of I Think of You Often floating around on the internet, for the people desperate enough to read them. I don't recommend it; there are better books to waste your time on. But you do you.

I've got some writing and restructuring to do.
