CH 18 — Saffron

Foraging for berries and inspecting that tree actually boosted Saffron’s botany level by one, planting it firmly on ten. Ten! Now it would receive extra items while scavenging and toiling in the field. Why hadn’t it tried this before, instead of scouting out toy stores and dodging slavers?

Betcha I can wipe entire trees at max level. Split one in half with one swipe of my paw! Oh, the things it would do! Frolic through a field of flowers, stopping only to collect those worthy of tea leaves for Eisbaer and the stuffy Val.

And who needed a fox or skeletal cat, when a sentient, upright wolf existed among them? No beast, troll, or human would ever evade its fine tuned sniffer and powerful bite!
