CH 14 — Saffron

Eisbaer was oddly missing for the next two days, a fact that brought Saffron much distress. According to her coordinates, she was still somewhere in the city, just not home. It considered reaching out, but didn’t want to disturb her if she was training. Like it should be…
Since that fateful battle with the boars, Saffron returned to the gyms, leveling up the boring, stagnant way. Grinding was a drag, but Saffron left that day at a more formidable number: twenty-seven.
Not bad for a casual gamer.
It had no plans beyond returning home and snacking on a ham and bacon sandwich, but saw no harm in stopping by Eisbaer’s. Her place and theirs, while on different sides of the city, did share the same winding road.
But as luck would have it, Saffron’s path neatly collided with hers.
