CH 11 — Eisbaer

The night sky, with a blueish tint, a smattering of stars, and a light haze. A full moon sits in the middle, a flock of birds flying across.

Dread and fear were on the menu today, and while she was in a chipper mood before, that all came tumbling down soon after. Why, oh why, did it lost her contact details? Did she really come off as approachable?

Am I the designated speaker of the party?

Eisbaer pressed a hand against her chest, expecting to feel the rabid thumping of her heart, only to be met with dead silence. This world could mimic the sensation of eating a hearty meal or the thrill of sexual intercourse (or so she heard), but the one thing it couldn’t get right was a goddamn panic attack.

Fair enough.

She wanted to say something at the moment, but was too polite (and mortified) to do so. Eisbaer summoned Trenton to vent, catching it up to speed before spiraling.

Trenton nodded along, vacant eyes seeing all, yet parsing nothing.
