New Book Around the Corner

"But didn't you just publish a book?" I did, but I always have something going on (like my serials). I'd like to keep it under 40k words, but I said the same thing about my last book. And that one was 63k.

I'm currently focused on a novella set in the same series and town, but the MC isn't Evan this time; it's a park ranger who is exploring the dating scene. She's essentially a late bloomer, but was aware of her sexuality for years. She just never acted on it until her late 30's, having been career focused for so long.

The story follows her adventures after a speed dating event, with three potential partners: a childhood friend, a colleague, and someone entirely new. There's also a bit of a supernatural air to the setting, but nothing as direct as my other books. It's in a weird spot, toeing the line of the paranormal.

I have a ton of muse for this one, and hope to have it published around Valentine's Day. If not then, I'll aim for March. One thing I've learned is to never rush the process, and there's still covers to consider...

I'll send sneak peaks towards the end of the year, and hopefully have a cover in mind by then. I already know the title, which is a rare occurrence for me.

Keep an eye out for December's big book promo! There are some discounted books in the mix, and most of these will be queer. And I've some cute holiday sapphic books! One even features older women (50+), which I don't see too often.
