First Bonus of the New Year

Bonuses for Kindle Vella rolled out earlier this week, later than expected and lower for some. But for me, it was a wonderful day; my bonus for Fluid Bonding was more than my combined total for those first four months I was active on the program. The bonus I received for Early Adopter, a story I plan on pulling soon to work in full, was much less, but generous considering how little engagement it had.

158 total reads, 66 locked reads, $5 royalties

Compare that to Early Adopter's 7 reads and 0 royalties; I never got beyond episode three before I decided against updating it further.

$36.94 for EA, $142.69 for FB

I estimated that I would make $200 at the most, so I was pleased to see I came close, at roughly $180! I'm hoping to have greater success for February, too, now that I've got an additional story going and wrapped up Fluid Bonding.
